Because Limited/Overland Grand Cherokee's had steering wheel volume/tuning controls on the back. Would be nice to have on my LJ.

I am having some difficultly when driving on the highway. The steering seems a bit stiff when near the center of travel making it difficult to track in a straight line.

If it sounds like it it in the steering column then it is possibly either a bushing in the shaft or possibly the clock spring, which is the interface between the steering wheel and the column (and rest of the wire harness) for the steering wheel controls, horn, and airbag.
